Flatbed preparation starts with the exact vehicle
Flatbed transport may be part of the provider’s plan, but a vehicle description and access check come first. Do not choose a method from appearance alone.
EV and AWD details
Provide make, model, year and drivetrain if known. Tell the provider if the battery is depleted or you cannot release park. The provider should confirm the applicable manufacturer transport instructions; do not improvise a towing mode or attachment.
Low clearance and wheel condition
Mention lowered suspension, damaged wheels, flat tires and whether the vehicle steers or rolls. These details can affect loading preparation. A flatbed alone does not answer how a non-rolling vehicle will reach it.
Garage-to-destination plan
Describe the garage entrance and posted height limit, then confirm the receiving location. Ask whether extraction and transport are both covered by the proposed quote, and who will perform each step.
